(RALEIGH) -- The pot grows bigger as no big money winner emerges in the first Powerball drawing for North Carolina.
None of the tickets sold in our state produced a winner of the $38 million jackpot.
Two tickets that matched the first five numbers but missed the Powerball won $200,000 each. Those tickets were sold in North Carolina and Kentucky.
The six numbers drawn were 10-20-22-43-49. The Powerball was three.
The expected prize for Saturday's drawing is $48 million. More than two dozen states participate in the Powerball drawings.
